James & Spackman began in 1975 as a partnership formed by John James and Peter Spackman.

After both having served apprenticeships for very high profile companies in London, John and Peter decided to relocate to Kent for a better quality of life for their respective families.

The Company first started out in Folkestone in a small workshop. A few years later John and Peter moved on to Hythe. As the company grew and took on more staff, the owners decided to relocate to much larger premises.

In 1982 suitable premises were found at Gibbons Brook in Sellindge, near Ashford in Kent. Since then James and Spackman has continued to grow over the last 30 years and are proud of the reputation it has in the industry.

The priorities have always been the customer with a focus on extremely high standards of workmanship. James and Spackman offer a specialized and bespoke modern service that we have continued to develop into what it is today.

James and Spackman now has five full time spinners who are all fully trained in both manual and automatic spinning.

We offer a complete metal spinning service for our customers. From design through to manufacture and delivery of the product. We provide the highest quality spinning that gives our customers the satisfaction that we will deliver the highest quality product on time. We have provided carriage lamps for the Royal state carriages as well as lighting equipment to Disney among many other prestigious products.
